Flower

This photo was taken by Lacamas Lake of a flower with a bug sitting in it. It was pretty bright out so I had a low ISO and I kept my AV to a lower number so I could just focus in on the flower and have a blurred background. I made very minor edits on this flower to keep it looking natural and sharp. I went in and softened the flower and sharpened the background to make the flower stand out.

Musical

This photo was taken to be advertisement for the school musical. It is meant to be a playing card similar to the game Clue. First I edited the photo of Andrew set at ISO 200 aperture 7.1 shutter 1/15. I made some edits to give it an artistic painted feel. Then I dropped the photo into the card background and changed all the coloring to match the red background he was in. Last is painted his hair back in on top of the card to make it seem like he was popping out of the card.

Studio Work

This is another shot of Amanda from the studio shoot we did. I set up a highkey lighting environment  and it made the black background fade out nicely. My ISO was set at 200 Shutter 1/160 and AV 5.0. I kept my AV set at 5.0 to keep her face very sharp and let everything else fade around her. I went in in photoshop and softened her face and brought her eyes and lips out more. I also stamped away some stray hair and did some highlighting on the photo.

Steigerwald

This photo was taken at Steigerwald of a Nutria swimming in the water. The ISO was set at 800 Shutter 1/640 and AV 7.1. It was a dark environment so I had to brighten the photo and bring out the clarity in the Nutria.

Arches

This photo was also taken at Arches National Park in Utah similar to my pano. I put a slight filter over the sky to bring out the blues and a filter on the rocks to give them more depth and texture. My aperture was set at 7.1 ISO 100 and shutter at 1/250. I also went in and stamped out some distractions in the right rock wall that would draw your eyes to them. All the edits were simple to make on this photo and I love how it turned out.

Black Light

This photo was taken in the studio with only black lights. We painted their faces with black light paint so it would glow under the black lights and ripped up white shirts to glow as well. In photoshop the color of the paint showed up pretty well but I went in and pushed the saturation to make them pop even more. I also went in and stamped around all the edges of the paint to make them look like straight lines because it was hard to apply the paint straight. My aperture was 1.8 ISO at 5000 because it was so dark and shutter at 1/160. I am extremely happy of how the quality of this photo turned out in the dark environment we shot it in.

Sunset

This photo is of Cindy and Emily that I made a composite like photo of. I took multiple photos of them and stitched them side by side on one photo. Then I took my photo of a sunset and did an overlay on top of them so it would reveal the sunset on top of them but you can still see their faces. I had to then mess with the values to make it perfectly even so I didn't take the sunset to far over their faces. My aperture was 9.0 ISO 200 and shutter was at 1/160. After all this I went and stamped around all of them to make all the edges crisp and accurate.
